Juniper has an extensive background in holistic health and wellness as a licensed massage therapist and personal trainer. During her basic herbalist training at the Australasian College of Health Sciences, they received education on essential oils, herbs, advanced anatomy and physiology classes, and holistic stress management treatment.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Juniper has used the Academy's 3-Core Integrative approach for years, specializing in the treatment of anxiety and chronic stress. Juniper is greatly passionate about environmental justice and nature connection; she is a certified ecotherapist, Yasei Shinrin Yoku guide, and nature connection guide. Additionally, they are a Work That Reconnects facilitator and a Wild Mind apprentice at the Animas Valley Institute.

Laurel Sims-Stewart

Laurel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a background in art therapy. She is the recipient of the 2019 Bridge to Light award for Child Counseling and Support. In her work with the Academy, Laurel assists in content production, development, and training.

Laurel specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and life stage transitions. Throughout her time in practice, she has always gravitated toward an integrative, insight-based approach. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness and meditation, psychoeducation, and expressive techniques. She encourages all of her clients to take an active role in writing the narrative of their life by including elements of mind, body, and spirit throughout.
